After a long and broad career as a classroom teacher, Di moved into teacher librarianship 15 years ago and is now Head of Library Services at The King’s School.
Di sits on the Board of the International Boys’ School Coalition (IBSC). She also helped developed the vibrant IBSC Action Research Program, for which she was awarded the Hawley-Jarvis Award for service to boys’ education. Her presentation at EduTECH will draw on her own research experience and share insights
Her ongoing commitment to research is also reflected in Di’s involvement in The King’s School research community and her recent completion of a Doctor of Education. Di’s research interest in the promotion of graphic novels as texts for school libraries and classrooms has provided her with numerous opportunities to share her work in Australia and overseas, and to publish in professional journals.
