Heather Bailie, Teacher Librarian Library & Information Services Manager, The King David School

Heather is the Library & Information Services Manager at The King David School (KDS) in Melbourne. In 2017 she completed her Masters of Education (Knowledge Networks & Digital Innovation) online through Charles Sturt University, studying areas including Literature in Digital Environments, Designing Spaces for Learning and Digital Citizenship in Schools. At KDS her role encompasses the library, supporting the iPad program and integration of GSuite Edu, and teaching ICT in years 3-5. In 2013 she had a "gap year" working with Australian Red Cross on the National Emergency Management Project funded Educating the Educators project. Prior to that she was College ICT Coach, Teacher Librarian and IT teacher at Mill Park Secondary College. Heather is a Google Certified Innovator, a social media fanatic, a lover of apps and gadgets and a geek at heart.
