Dr John Flett, Head of Educational Development, Gordon TAFE

John is responsible for educational reform, teaching innovation, online learning and library services across the Institute. He has over 19 years senior management experience in educational and training design for the vocational and secondary education systems in Australia.
John’s other roles in the TAFE sector include Head of Innovation and Strategy, Manager for Teaching Excellence, Centre Manager for Essential Business Skills, and Regional Manager.

John has previously managed and led an Enterprise-based Registered Training Organisation in the natural resources sector, and been a member of multiple Industry Skills Councils and Industry Training Board advisory committees. He is a current Board member of the Wynbay Local Learning and Employment Network, and committee member of two government Technical School projects.
